There were definitely some hits - and most definitely some misses. However, one show in particular really impressed me. Brand Equity's Show was clearly a save the best for last scenario. Buffalo, a brand we all know and love for its many plays on denim, confirmed that urban edge, grungy,skinny jeans, bad gal boots and rockstar glam will lead the way into Fall.
From a beauty perspective, that means more smoky, devilish eyes and pale, lush lips. This trend, by the way, is one of may favorite looks and I'm happy it is going to stick around for awhile. However, as always - don't feel compelled to follow trends - set them. I plan to rock the smoky eye for a long time to come....even when it's no longer deemed on-trend chic.
